We were easily able to travel around on public transport or by foot and able to access all the sights we wished to visit. We were welcomed on our first day and any questions were quickly answered.     We stayed at these lofts in Berlin for a few days as two young families with toddlers. The place is stocked with everything you need, including things for babies such as high chairs, play pens (travel cots), toys etc. the kitchen is also well stocked so that was very helpful! The location isn’t the most convenient, we had to walk 10-15min to catch buses so we ended up taking Bolts to get around. But aside from that, the place itself was wonderful. The 2 full bathrooms upstairs were very nice to have as two families and the bathroom on the main floor was also great to have. The place isn’t very baby proofed (sharp furniture and no gate for the stairs) but we made it work by blocking the stairs. Overall really nice place just be aware the public transportation isn’t convenient and not a ton of places to eat or get groceries close by. Hosts are also very responsive, which was also appreciated!!

    Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem Loft in Berlin mit unseren Kindern. Die Lage ist perfekt - ruhig genug für erholsame Nächte, aber dennoch zentral genug, um die Stadt problemlos zu erkunden. Die Wohnung bot ausreichend Platz für die ganze Familie, und wir genossen es, uns nach einem Tag voller Sightseeing in diesem gemütlichen Rückzugsort zu entspannen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war reibungslos, und wir fühlten uns gut betreut. Insgesamt eine großartige Erfahrung, die wir gerne wiederholen würden!

Kitchen has anything you will need and also rest of the apartment is really well planned and managed. Stefans friendly and caring staff was there to greet us and show around when we arrived and also checked up a couple of times. Neighborhood is more residential area, felt safe even in the evening.

    This place is clean and large. It had many amenities, including an espresso machine and various ways of making coffee, always important on an active trip. Bathrooms are large enough and the showers have great water pressure. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, but it's a cab ride or bus ride to the old part of the city. Highly recommended.

    This clean, well-designed and appointed apartment faced a delightful courtyard with other apartments. It was quite comfortable for two couples, quiet and a welcome retreat after a day of touring. Kitchen appliances and ware were quite ample and of high quality, although directions for appliances were in German only. Beds were quite comfortable and the master bedroom was larger than expected. The location wasn’t in the center of town, but it was easy to get Uber rides at night, and we also rented bicycles to enjoy getting around during most days. A system of bike lanes throughout the city made biking easy and enjoyable. A large market was a 7 minute walk away, and a small pharmacy even closer. Stephan was very helpful and responded quickly. We highly recommend this property and will stay again if we return to this great city.

    Our family (four people) stayed at the apartment during April 2023 and we were impressed. What we found was a large, comfortable apartment that was exactly as represented in the ad and it was a great place for four people to relax after long days wandering around Berlin. The location is quiet and secure and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby and you are only a couple of kilometres from Berlin Central. The rooms are all a generous size and the kitchen and equipment is clean and generous. Communication with Stephan and the team was excellent and the check in procedure straight forward and without issue. We had a wonderful stay.

We were able to travel into central Berlin well, and after long days of sight seeing we could relax and feel at home. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment

    Die Ferienwohnung war super und wirklich groß für vier Personen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall empfehlen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top ausgestattet. Gerade die Küche war sehr hervorragend ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Man hätte sogar einen Kuchen backen können. Dadurch, dass die Ferienwohnung in einem Hinterhof liegt, ist es ruhig und man fühlt sich sicher. Die Bushaltestelle ist nicht weit weg und dadurch ist man ruckzuck am Hbf und kommt von da aus unkompliziert an jedes Ziel in Berlin.

    We had a very comfortable and happy stay at the old blacksmith apartment. The rooms were warm and very spacious. The appliances are top of the range and worked as expected. Lots of utensills if you wish to cook meals. I highly reccomend this apartment and if we are ever back in Berlin we will certainly book again.

    Die Unterkunft liegt nicht direkt an der Straße, sondern ist über einen Innenhof erreichbar und ist daher schön ruhig. Im Erdgeschoss ist sehr viel Platz, mit großem Tisch und großer Sofasitzecke. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles war sehr sauber. Durch die drei Bäder (zwei davon mit Dusche/Duschwanne) ist der Aufenthalt mit mehreren Leuten einach und angenehm. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, man musste nie lang auf eine Antwort warten.

    The place is great, very comfortable for 4-5 people as rooms are large and has more than one bathroom. Spaces are cozy and wide, so it’s comfortable if you have to work remotely as well. Location is convenient as there’s a bus stop close by and you get to the center in no more than 15 mins.

In a quieter neighborhood that will require a short train / bus / Uber to more of the “sights” in town but apartment is incredibly spacious with 2BR / 2.5BA and a huge living room and kitchen area. Shared outdoor courtyard space is also a lovely place to hang out and enjoy some peace and quiet if the weather is nice. Highly recommended.

    Es ist alles so, wie beschrieben und Stephan ist ein hilfsbereiter, super freundlicher Host: Die lage der ehemaligen Schmiede mit dem schönen Loft-Charakter ist ruhig im Hinterhof, dennoch sind die Bushaltestelle und alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurants in der Nähe, man ist so schnell in der Stadt. Besonders gefallen uns, dass man bei lauen Nächten schön auf der Terrasse sitzen kann und Wohnung bzw. das Haus gleich 2 Bäder hat. Gerne hätten wir mehr Zeit in der der ehemaligen Schmiede verbracht und können den Aufenthalt dort jedem sehr empfehlen.

    It was the perfect home away from home place to stay at. It had everything we needed and more. Our young boy were safe to play inside the apartment as well as outside in the most beautiful courtyard which provided such a peaceful environment within the hustle of Berlin. Lots of great playgrounds in walking distance. Restaurants, fast food and supermarkets near by and public transport (that could get you with easy connections quickly further into the city) almost at the doorstep. We'll definitely love to stay there again when coming back Berlin.

There were lots of great playgrounds in walking distance to be discovered. Public transport to be reached almost at the doorstep and super quick connections to get further into the city. Restaurants, fast food and supermarkets close by. Stephan the host was extremely kind and helpful (as well as the staff). We'll always happily come back for another stay!

    Having stayed in many serviced apartments and vacation rentals I can honestly say that this was one of my favourites! The apartment was extremely spacious, well kitted out, quiet, super clean, and the outside areas very well kept and welcoming. The team looking after us was prompt, friendly and the owner very welcoming and great to talk to. We’ll be back!

Bij aankomst hadden we goede uitleg van Baksi en waren we verbaasd over hoe groot de ruimte was. Al met al een mooi appartement die de prijs zeker waard is.

The two-story apartment is very spacious with no less than two bathrooms and one toilet and all the kitchen equipment you need (among other things, three different coffee/espresso machines). The place was clean and tidy. The courtyard is a huge bonus - a quiet and place place away from the traffic noise. We would definitely like to come back!

    Our family (four people) stayed at the Forge Workshop Apartment during April 2023 and really enjoyed the experience. The apartment is quite large, well set up and equipped. Communication with the Berlin Lofts team was clear and concise and the check in procedure uncomplicated and on arrival the apartment was clean and set up for us. The workshop vibe of the apartment and the complex in which it is situated is really cool and the quality of the renovation appears to be quite high. We enjoyed staying staying in the apartment as it gave us a large and comfortable place to relax after busy days wandering around Berlin.

    Die Wohnung war ein schöner Ort der Entspannung. Alles war sauber und alles da was man braucht. Etwas rustikal, aber sehr hochwertige Möbel und Elektrogeräte. Die ganze Familie hat sich wohl gefühlt. Auch das tolle Spielzeug für die Kids war so gepflegt, dass wir unsere beiden bedenkenlos damit haben spielen lassen. Für unsere kleine gab es auch ein bezogenes Kinderreisebett, das war super. Das allerbeste ist aber die wunderbare Ruhe im Innenhof, zu dem man auch schläft. Wirklich erholsam, ohne laute Party-People. Die direkte Umgebung ist etwas trostlos, aber in Richtung U-Bahn wird es schnell schöner und man hat einige Läden und Restaurants. Der Parkplatz war super im Innenhof, allerdings ist die Einfahrt zum Innenhof eng. Es passen alle Autos durch (auch Bullis), aber man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass der Parkpiepser durchgängig dauerpiepst bei der Durchfahrt der etwas längeren Einfahrt.

His place is absolutely beautiful and cozy. Spotless clean and spacious. We fell in love with it as soon as we arrived. During our stay, we felt safe and felt like being home. The kitchen was well equipped and everything we needed was provided. The location is great- close to bus stops that can either take you to Berlin Main Train Station (10 mins ride) or anywhere you’d like to visit in Berlin. 100% recommended!!!

La atención en los detalles es máxima. Está finamente diseñado para tener una estadía tremendamente placentera. Si hay niños de por medio, pues tanto mejor porque el apartamento cuenta con detalles y juguetes para ellos. Una maravilla. Stephan, por lo demás, fue muy amable y siempre se encuentra a disposición. No se me ocurre un mejor lugar para albergar una familia en Berlín que este apartamento. Recomendado al 101%.

    We loved our stay! For two couples we felt like we had plenty of room to hang out in communication areas and it was also lovely to each have our own bathroom. The courtyard area was very nice and quiet- it was nice to have a table outside to enjoy meals. We were able to easily get to the main Berlin sites- about a 45 minute walk to the Brandenburg Gate and also easy and quicker trains or taxi. Many small grocers and a few large stores nearby so it was easy to buy anything we needed. Would definitely stay again

    The Forge Workshop Apartment is a truly fantastic example of an Airbnb property. It is a historic building completely renovated into a beautiful upscale property. The hosts have seemingly thought of everything here and designed everything for a completely comfortable stay. The host met us on check in for an introduction to the property and neighborhood. He was very attentive and anxious to assist with any questions we had. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and took advantage of great nearby restaurants. Our favorites were Sapori di Casa for a nice Italian dinner and Birkenwunder for a cafe/bakery breakfast (near the U Bahn). The apartment is an easy walk to the U and S Bahn stations, or a bus can take you directly to the main train station within minutes. We felt like we could get everywhere within 30-40 minutes. I look forward to recommending this property and staying here again.

    A fabulous apartment which was ideal for our Berlin trip. The apartment was spacious, clean and very well kitted out. We loved the courtyard setting which was perfect for eating breakfast or an evening drink. We soon orientated ourselves to the local area. There is a bus stop very close by that takes you to the main train station, or it’s a 15 minute walk to a U Station. To get to the main sights in Berlin you have to change bus/ lines but the overall journey time is usually about 30-40 minutes so very manageable. There’s a Lidl supermarket close by and plenty of restaurants near the U stations. Thank you very much- we loved staying at the apartment!

The heating worked very well, and the flat was cosy even if outside it was a dark Berlin winter day.     das Apartment liegt angenehm ruhig in einem Hinterhof. Wir konnten unser Auto auch im verschlossenen Hinterhof parken. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und sehr durchdacht ausgestattet. So findet man sogar solche Dinge wie einen Sektflaschenverschluss. Wir haben das Apartment mit einem befreundeten Pärchen bewohnt und dafür ist es perfekt. Im oberen Bereich hat jeder sein eigenes geschlossenes Schlaf- und Badezimmer. Der riesige Wohn- und Küchenbereich im Erdgeschoss lädt wirklich zum Verweilen ein. Zu Fuß ist man in weniger als ner halben Stunde am Hauptbahnhof oder alternativ sind Bus und U-Bahn gut zu erreichen. Darüber hinaus gibt es diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung.

On our arrival we were shown around the apartment and told how to work everything. It had ample bed space and bathrooms and a chalkboard on which they wrote a very welcoming message. Couldn’t rate this any higher. I know it says on here that they have construction work taking place, this was no issue at all when we visited from early Friday to Monday.

Super nice kitchen with all possible kitchen tools you’d ever need.. all fancy kitchen gadgets... Smeg fridge, Porsche design toaster, Porsche design kettle/coffee maker thing, Miele fancy professional coffee maker ... Siemens dishwasher and kettle, nespresso coffee machine.., herbs and spices provided...very thoughtful. Wanted to stay at the house and just cook etc instead of touring the city! Even provided chrome book (laptop) to use in the house. Also had two blankets for the double bed which made sleeping more comfortable. Unfortunately, did not provide toiletries like shampoo and body wash. But they had liquid hand soap. About a 10+ min walk to the train station, but close to bus station that goes to the central bus station. This is like a hidden gem! Would love to stay here again just to enjoy the house instead of the city!

Draußen das Berliner Leben zum Greifen nah, drinnen eine Oase der Ruhe mit ausreichend Raum und allem was ein entspannter Aufenthalt erfordert. Ankommen und sich wohlfühlen, in Laufnähe was einkaufen, Essen zubereiten, genießen und anschließend alles wieder im großen Kühlschrank und der Spülmaschine verschwinden lassen. Den Bus vor der Haustür haben und mal schnell in die City fahren. Das eigene Auto sicher im Innenhof parken.

    The Berlin Lofts are a great place to stay in Berlin. We were a group of five so there was lots of space to spread out. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped as is the rest of the place. We hired the bikes from the courtyard out the front which was a great thing to do. Its super quick to get into Berlin - faster than public transport and very safe. It was always great to come back to our home away from home at the end of the day.

The kitchen amenities are excellent, there were 3 different ways to make coffee! and a large range of cooking equipment and utensils and even spices to use. There were many additional touches that we appreciated for example a Christmas tree out the front, travel books for Berlin, washing machine liquid. The location was very good also and we found it very easy to get to/from the airport and to the main sights by public transport. There is also a big supermarket within walking distance.

    Dit appartement is een absolute aanrader! Niet goedkoop, maar daarvoor krijg je veel. Het appartement is super ruim, mooi ingericht en de binnenplaats met het terras is ontzettend knus. Wij hebben met 2 volwassenen en 3 tieners in het appartement verbleven en we waren alle vijf even enthousiast! De locatie is centraal en vlakbij is een grote supermarkt. De privéparkeerplek is een absolute bonus. Zelfs in een snikheet Berlijn bleef het appartement van binnen koel (en dat zonder airco!). Een volgende keer zullen we hier zeker weer verblijven.

    Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Da die Apartments im Innenhof liegen, konnten wir und vor und nach unseren Ausflügen richtig gut auf der Terasse aufhalten und entspannen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar. Auch die Wohnungen sind sehr schön und haben sehr viel Platz.

The apartment is well positioned and close to both public transport and supermarkets but also in a quiet neighbourhood. Everything was super clean and well thought out. Thank you :)

  244. Aufenthalt über Weihnachten

    Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die gut durchdachte und reichliche Ausstattung der Küche ist sogar für das Kochen mit mehreren Personen geeignet. Die Matratzen sind gut. Schön war es, dass man jederzeit Kontakt zum Vermieter aufnehmen konnte und Wünsche, z.B. nach zusätzlichen Handtüchern, umgehend erfüllt wurden. Durch die Lage im Hinterhof, sogar mit Sitzgelegenheiten für draußen für jede Wohnung, ist die Wohnung ruhig, fast wie eine eigene kleine Welt. Es gibt Spielzeug und interessante Literatur über Berlin und Moabit. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Hier kann man sich wohl fühlen. Vermieter und weiteres Personal sind sehr nett.

    The apartment is tucked away from the main street in a beautiful courtyard with fantastic brick buildings. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and well equipped. The heating worked very well, and the flat was cosy even if outside it was a dark Berlin winter day. The location is really good in the middle of Moabit and the whole check-in process was very well organised. We will definitely come back!

    We visited the 220M Loft in 2011 and were excited about the space. The kitchen was beautiful and very good equiped. Now in 2021 we were with less people, so rented the Forke Workshop. It also is beatiful, has everything you need and a safe parkingplace inside the yard. The location is very practical at the edge of Berlin. We try to come next year again with more people.

    auch unser 2. Aufenthalt in einem der Appartments von berlinlofts (diesmal die Schmiede Werkstatt) ist rundherum angenehm; das Appartment bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht; die Betten sind herrlich bequem, 2 großzügige Bäder, eine perfekte Küchenausstattung bei der wirklich gar nichts fehlt, und das Besondere an diesen Appartements: sie liegen mitten in Berlin und sind dennoch absolut ruhig durch die urige Hinterhoflage, wo man auch einen schönen Sitzplatz im Freien hat zum Essen und Klönen. Auch ein gesichterter Parkplatz und Abstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder sind vorhanden - Fazit: es fehlt absolut an nichts, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

    This two bedroom, two-bath apartment (neither ensuite) is roomy, well-stocked (even coffee) and has nice amenities, such as the espresso maker along with various other coffee making machine (important for ambitious travelers). Beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are large with nice showers. The living area is comfortable for four people to unwind while checking email and catching up on the news back home.The washing machine works great. And the kitchen cabinets are well stocked. Located northwest of the downtown area, there are plenty of restaurants and bakeries nearby, but you'll need to take a cab, bus or bike to get downtown. Our host was very accommodating and responsive, even letting us store our baggage as we arrived well ahead of check-in time. I highly recommend this place for your Berlin visit.

    Just say YASSS! To the Berlin Lofts. Price and Value are great. Check in was seamless and we were given all information for nearby transit, restaurants, shops, and of course an introduction to all the amenities available to us within our mini home-away-from-home. We were extremely happy with our 5 days at the Loft. It was everything as advertised and then some. Many thanks....we would return here and recommend without hesitation.

    We loved staying here. A lovely, spacious apartment with absolutely EVERYTHING you need to self-cater is here and if you are a coffee aficionado I think you’ll be happy. Our host greeted us on arrival, explained everything clearly, was helpful whe I couldn’t work out how to use the stove top and let us leave our bags on departure until we were ready to go. The UBahn was a little way to walk but the bus 123 takes you to the main Hauptbahnhof. We had a very happy week as a family together here. Many thanks.
