    Spacious clean apartment. All the necessary amenities. Location outside the center, but doable by foot (about 3-4 km). However beter to use public transport. Very handy parking place in the yard. We also had our own place to sit outside. We would stay there again if in Berlin.

    This was a great place to stay to explore Berlin. Set back from the road so felt safe and looked exactly like the pictures. Nice and clean with everything you need for a city break. The host was responsive and helpful on the last day when we needed to store cases. Had a very homely feel so we enjoyed relaxing there. The area was quiet so when we arrived at about 9:45pm we really struggled to find somewhere within easy reach to get a decent hot meal. After exploring over the next few days it seems there are some restaurants off the main road. I’d recommend Sapori di Casa which was a great Italian 10 mins away. The only points I’d make for suggested improvements are about the back bedroom - it has a large skylight which doesn’t have a blind, so come 4am the room is flooded with light making it hard to sleep. The duvets are thin single ones (on a double bed) so it was quite chilly. Pillows could be comfier too. Also would have liked a hand towel in the bathroom.

    Great place to stay in Berlin, walking distance from berlin hbf (±25). We also used the kitchen the first night. Everything we needed was easy to find, pots and pans of decent quality. Grocery store is nearby. Very nice walkin shower, 2 clean bedrooms. And a great shared courtyard.

    We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is on a busy street, but the apartment is in a fairly open space hidden away from the noise. We appreciated that our hosts had taken care of small stuff such as coffee, herbal tea, useful maps of the surroundings, etc. If we visit Berlin again, this will be our top choice.

    Such a cozy airbnb! The bedrooms are just right for 5 adults. It also had all the essentials we needed for our stay. The nearest bus stop is just about 3 mins away from the airbnb... so that's definitely a plus factor! Kudos also to the host for being responsive. Highly recommended!

    Sfeervol en schoon appartement in een rustig hofje, zodat je niets hoort van verkeer of andere straatgeluiden. Wij werden heel hartelijk ontvangen bij aankomst en kregen een duidelijke uitleg over het appartement en de omgeving. In de wijk zelf is niet zoveel te beleven, maar met een kwartiertje ben je met de bus bij het centrum. Een aanrader als je een rustige plek zoekt, niet te ver van het centrum!

    Wir waren mit unseren 3 Kindern da. Die Unterkunft war super, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Ausstattung für kleine Kinder war auch gut. Die Wohnung liegt in einem Innenhof und ist deshalb sehr ruhig, für Familien mit kleinen Kindern super. Auch der sehr nahe Parkplatz ist viel wert. Eine große Auswahl an Restaurants gibt es nicht, trotzdem haben wir in der Umgebung nett gegessen. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt in der Hauptstadt. Vielen Dank!

    We stayed in Stephan’s Harley 1 ground floor apartment for several days in the week before Christmas. Artfully decorated in a converted garage, very private and quiet, inside a courtyard location, meticulously clean, and tastefully arranged. Self contained, functional, warm and comfy apartment, ideal for a family of four. Lots of skylights. Has a Mark Rothko painting print in a bedroom and a huge Berlin map in the other bedroom. Big collection of bilingual tour guidebooks. Has Netflix. Has basement clothes washers & dryers. Umbrellas would add a nice homely touch for rainy weather. Brilliant photo guidance and instructions. We used Bolt ride share cab, every tourist attraction is super close. Special thanks to Sofi for helping every step of the way from the reservation to checking out. Highly recommended!

The kitchen had everything down to a cheese grater, salad spinner, multiple ways to make coffee etc. Hosts were communicative and helpful. Location- well connected for exploring. A short walk to either bus or train station. The place is just lovely. We would absolutely stay there again.

    Stephan's place was very nice. It's on a busy street, but tucked away at the back of the building, so there's no street noise at all. It was nice to have parking onsite. The interior was exactly as the photos and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. Stephan was very responsive and was available for anything we needed. We didn't use transit to the tourist sights, but Uber was very inexpensive from this location. Also, Stephan provided coffee and tea for a nice morning treat. I would highly recommend Stephan's place to anyone visiting the Berlin area.

    We spent a lovely time at the Stephan’s place. Everything was perfect except one bedroom which was a little bit damp even though it was really hot weather and we opened the roof window. However overall it was really great place and I would recommend it. Definitely would like to stay in this apartment when we visit Berlin again.

    Het verblijf was net wat we nodig hadden voor ons gezin met 3 dochters. Zalige plek, heel rustig gelegen, alle voorzieningen aanwezig. Heel veel ruimte. Stephan reageert super snel en is heel behulpzaam en attent. We hadden een zieke dochter en hij zorgde voor goed contact met dokter en warmwaterkruik. Een aanrader om Berlijn te ontdekken.

    We had a fabulous stay here and will definitely return next time we're in Berlin. The apartment is very-well located close to bus stops, with the U Bahn 10 mins walk away and just 4 stops from Kurfürstendamm. Plenty of local bars, restaurants and a big supermarket within a short walk. The apartment was spacious, very well-equipped (especially with the traveller in mind, like loads of USB/C and laptop charging points), spotlessly clean and exactly as shown in the photos. The courtyard is a great spot to relax and means that the bedrooms were very quiet at night. Stephan and his team were incredibly welcoming and reactive. Simply a great place to stay!

    Wir waren nun bereits zum 4. Mal in einem Appartement von Berlin Lofts und sind jedes Mal rundherum zufrieden. Die Kombination von perfekt ausgestattetem Appartement und der idyllischen Lage mitten in der Stadt und dennoch totale Ruhe ist vermutlich kein zweites Mal in Berlin zu finden. Dazu der inklusive Parkplatz im Hof und ein sehr angenehmer Kontakt zum Vermieter, besser geht es nicht.

    Wie haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt im Loft. Es liegt ruhig im Hinterhof, wo auch unser Auto sicher parken konnte. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel waren super zu erreichen und wir waren schnell an den Hotspots Berlins. Einziges Manko war die Brötchenversorgung am Morgen. Der nächste Bäcker war im Edeka, der rund 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt war.

    We had a very nice stay at the apartment, easy to find, easy check in and a nice, warm, cosy apartment. We liked the location, the loft charakter but underestimated the distance to the places we wanted to visit, but of course that is a personal issue. Anyway, the place is very well value, clean and comfortable. Since the first night was a bit noisy, Stephan talked to the neighbours - the other nights were very quiet. We found that very nice and helpful. Good, you can reach the owner so easily. In total a very good experience, I would recommend to other families, since there is also very good cooking gear, so you can stay indoor as well.

    Die Wohnung bietet alles was man für einen Kurztrip in die Hauptstadt benötigt - und noch ein bisschen mehr :-) Die Küche ist top ausgestattet, Tee und Kaffee sowie Gewürze, Spülmittel etc. sind für den Anfang vorhanden. Der Parkplatz im Hof ist ein absoluter Pluspunkt wenn man mit dem Auto anreist. Ansonsten ist die Anbindung zum ÖPNV super und es lassen sich alle gewünschten Bereiche in Berlin gut erreichen. Der Innenhof ist total nett und im Sommer bestimmt toll zum draußen sitzen - hat sich jetzt im November bei uns leider nicht ergeben... aber auch im Inneren der Wohnung lässt es sich gut aushalten. Es war alles wie auf den Fotos und in der Beschreibung angegeben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Kinder planen bereits den nächsten Berlin-Trip.

    Super Unterkunft in perfekter Lage für Erkundungen in der Stadt. Trotzdem ist es erstaunlich ruhig, sobald man im Hof steht. Vom Straßenlärm ist im Hof nichts zu hören. Auch die Wohnung an sich ist klasse. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Ausstattung ist durchdacht und hat eine persönliche Note. Sitzecke im Hof super für einen entspannten Abend. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Die Wohnung sowie der Innenhof hat uns sehr gut gefallen und natürlich haben wir unsere Terrasse bei dem Wetter in Berlin sehr gerne benutzt. Die Kommunikation war bestens. Bus und Bahn direkt in der Nähe und die Markthalle um die Ecke war ein Besuch Wert. Jede Zeit wieder !

    Wir waren für ein paar Tage in der Harley Wohnung mit 4 kleinen Kindern und der Oma. Der Hof war genial zum Spielen und alle Anwohner waren sehr freundlich trotz des Kinderlärmes. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Aber beim nächsten Mal werden wir eine größere Wohnung in der Anlage buchen. Es gibt dort noch weitere sehr schöne. Die Verkehrsanbindungen sind sehr gut und der Hauptbahnhof ganz in der Nähe. Stephan der Gastgeber ist ständig vor Ort und man kann ihn jederzeit befragen. So ein Service und einen so sympathischen Vermieter kann man sich nur wünschen. Dankeschön. Wir kommen wieder. Familie aus Wuppertal

    The Blacksmith Harley Apartment is an excellent place to stay in Berlin. Very close to a large supermarket (10 minutes walk) and to public transport (bus, metro) bringing you to the city centre. A quiet place with a relaxing and green inner terrace. The apartment offers everything you need during a city trip. We stayed there 7 days and we had an amazing time. Bedrooms are not completely dark; especially the one with the roof window. For that, we recommend a sleeping mask.

    Un endroit absolument charmant. L'appartement est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et donne sur une grande cour très agréable. Comme on se sent bien chez Stephan, on se sent chez soi ! Nous avons passé 6 jours dans l'appartement qui est parfaitement équipé. Très bon accueil de Stephan qui nous a donné plein d'informations utiles sur Berlin. Une excellente adresse.     We had a great stay. The accommodation is very comfortable with all the equipment needed and even more. With the location in the inner courtyard, the environment is very quiet after a busy day in Berlin. The communication with our host went perfectly well before and during the stay. For those who need to sleep in a very dark room, I would recommend to bring a mask to cover your eyes since not all Windows have curtains, in particular the roof window in one of the bedrooms. otherwise perfect place to stay in Berlin with free parking and a nice sunny terrace to relax after a busy day.

    Stephan ist der perfekte Gastgeber. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr zentral. Die Wohnung ist komplett eingerichtet. Es funktioniert alles. Parkplätze im Innenhof sind vorhanden. Im Innenhof sind auch mehrere Tische und Stühle, wo man gemütlich abends noch ein Bier trinken kann. Man fühlt sich absolut wohl. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne jederzeit wieder. Für uns hat alles perfekt gepasst. Vielen Dank noch mal für alles.

    Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Was uns besonders beeindruckt hat, ist, dass es in diesem Hinterhof ein eigenes Mikroklima gab: Angenehm frisch und wenn man durch das Tor zur Straße ging, kam ein Schwall von drückender Großstadthitze entgegen. Sehr interessant. Dass keine dünnen Vorhänge angebracht waren, war gewöhnungsbedürftig, weil man ja sozusagen in einer Auslage wohnte. Angenehm und notwendig fanden wir die Heizung, die ja Gott sei Dank zu gewissen Zeiten warm wurde. Besonders angenehm empfanden wir die extrem gute Ausstattung der Küche, obwohl wir nicht kochten. Das eine Zimmer hat nur ein Dachfenster, welches man bequem elektrisch öffnen konnte. Ein richtiges Fenster wäre aber ein anderes Wohngefühl. Das Waschbecken im Badezimmer war etwas winzig, so dass man mehr Wasser am Boden hatte als im Waschbecken. Das Badezimmer war aber sehr schön und praktisch. Angenehm ausreichend war das WC-Papier. Sehr angenehm und kuschelig fanden wir die Beleuchtung und die Art wie das Loft hergerichtet war. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt war der Parkplatz und dass er im Preis inbegriffen war. Sehr nett fanden wir die Sitzmöglichkeit im Hof und wie dieser gestaltet war. Der Vermieter Stephan war sehr zuvorkommend, erklärte uns alles, gab uns Tipps und war flexibel, da wir etwas früher schon angekommen sind als geplant. Alles Gute weiterhin, Grüße aus Innsbruck

    Wir haben als Familie ein paar schöne Tage in der Harley Schmiede verbracht. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und liegt in einem ruhigen, kultigen Backstein-Innenhof, den man von der Straße so gar nicht erwartet hätte. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

    Wir waren für vier Tage in der Unterkunft von Stephan, nach einer schweren OP bin ich da zur Ruhe gekommen wir waren mehr als zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und mit dem Service, großes Grundstück toller Innenhof ruhige Lage sauber gepflegtes Grundstück wie auch das Apartment war in einem top Zustand. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen und würde es jedes Mal wieder buchen wenn ich in Berlin bin. Danke für die angenehme Zeit bei dir ganz liebe Grüße Familie Epp

    Excellent location and a great place to return to each day. The space is a lot larger than the photographs and the beds were really comfortable. Having a large kitchen with all the necessary items was also a good addition (along with a number of very close supermarkets) so you could cook a few meals at home, if you wanted. Communication was excellent and the check-in very smooth. Would highly recommend this as a good base for Berlin.

    We were very impressed with David's apartment. This apartment has all the positive touches of a professionally-run business. Communication was excellent via phone, app, and email. The apartment was thoughtfully decorated, very clean, and provided all of the kitchen amenities for which we could have asked. We stayed in late November, and can confirm that the radiator heaters are very effective at quickly warming up the apartment. At our request, David provided an extra twin bed for our daughter, who slept easily in the common area (with plenty of room to spare) when we were all ready to go to bed for the evening. David provides a map to guests listing nearby amenities, which is helpful. The nearby (1km away, easy walk) Edeka grocery store has all one could ask for, and is open until 10pm.

    The loft apartment is lovely and clean. It is too far to walk in to the sightseeing places however we had a car and found it easy to park. Public transport is close and a Little grocery shop. We were there in December and it is a cosy space. Parking on site was great for our hire car.

I organised a stay at Blacksmith Harley, as the apartment is spacious with wheelchair access on the ground floor with no stairs to climb to access beds or bathrooms. The apartment was brilliant with a lovely outdoor seating area to provide some tranquility in the city. My parents arrived at Blacksmith Harley from Dublin, well before official check in time, to be met my Stephan, who looked after them, made them coffee and got them settled into the apartment in super quick time. I was extremely grateful for Stephan’s additional care which helped to make the trip all the more memorable for my parents. Big thanks to Stephan.

    Unser nun bereits 3. Aufenthalt in einem Apartment von Berlin Lofts, diesmal das Harley Apartment, war wieder rundherum sehr angenehm. Auch dieses Apartment ist perfekt ausgestattet, ein Ort zum Relaxen und Wohlfühlen. Und es ist immer wieder eine Freude, Stephan zu treffen und mit ihm zu plaudern. Ein besonderer Pluspunkt ist nach wie vor die Möglichkeit, das Auto und auch Fahrräder sicher und kostenlos parken zu können.

    Das Appartement ist schön und neuwertig eingerichtet. Es liegt in einem ruhigen Hinterhof, PKW Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Zur U-Bah geht man ca. 10-15 Minuten, Einkaufsgelegenheiten in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. Fazit: Schönes Appartement für den Urlaub in Berlin.

    The Apartment has many good qualities and is very functional. It was very clean and the kitchen facilities were excellent. The reason we chose an apartment over a hotel is that we find it allows us to relax in a manner more like home. Forge Harley allowed us to do this with a couple of exceptions. The pillows we very poor and we understand that they are European however they were of poor quality which affected our sleep. The other issue was the inconsistency of the Wifi. It regularly dropped out or was extremely slow. First world problem we agree, but annoying when your researching or planning your daily activities.

    We rented this apartment for 4 adults and 1 toddler. We came to Berlin so I could run the Berlin Marathon. The location was PERFECT, and the owner was even better. We arrived early and they let us in the apartment which was VERY nice of them. I needed a quick shower after the check out time on Sunday after the marathon and they let me use another shower. I would stay here again for sure when we come back. We rented bikes from them and got to really see some of Berlin up close this way. I absolutely loved my time there. Thank you VERY much for helping make our experience fantastic.

    The Forge Harley apartment worked out really well for two couples traveling to Berlin on vacation. The apartment had all the essentials and there was a supermarket very close by. The bus to the main train station was one block away also. The courtyard was lovely and helped us to meet other travelers as we sat outside having beer or coffee. Stephan and Jan were a pleasure to work with.

    Very nice and quiet place. Ideal for 4 persons. We felt "at home". A bit far from Zentrum, but we used Hubber services whic was a good and cheap idea for 4 persons. We warmly recommend.
